FACULTY
The Information and Communication Technologies Group (GTIC) was established in 1994 within the Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications Department at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), with the mission of contributing to the development, understanding, and dissemination of Information and Communication Technologies and their social, economic, and political impact.
In 2008, the group expanded to incorporate additional faculty members whose research spans diverse areas related to fixed, mobile, and broadcast radiocommunications, with a special emphasis on mobile communications and radiowave propagation. Today, GTIC integrates expertise in wireless networks, data analytics, and ICT policy to address emerging challenges in next-generation communication systems.
